Support
We recognise that people often come to church when life is most difficult. Here at Highgate International Church, whilst we are not professional counsellors, we are a community committed to supporting and caring for one another, as Jesus taught us.

We recognise that Jesus is the ultimate care-giver and for this reason our pastoral care focuses on ‘casting our anxiety on him’ (1 Peter 5 v 7). We hope that you will find comfort and care being part of our fellowship.
Understanding
We understand that life is complex and often painful. Family breakdown, illness and bereavement are everyday struggles for many in our church family. We do not pretend to have all the answers; we cannot claim that our lives are sorted and we recognize that life is often messy.
Support
However, we have discovered God’s grace to us as messed up people. He gives comfort, forgiveness and power to change through Jesus Christ. We therefore welcome those who are experiencing difficulties and will seek to provide support and prayer.
Contact
If you would like to speak to someone about any issues facing you, or if you would like us to pray for you, do come to our Sunday morning service and ask, or get in touch. We would be very willing to listen.
